Mr Victor Lye has over 25 years' operational and strategic leadership experience in public policy, investments, corporate finance, asset management and insurance. He has turned around several businesses during his career. Familiar with regional markets, he oversaw business units in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, New York and London.

 

Mr Lye has a First Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Adelaide under a Colombo Plan Scholarship. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner.

 

Active in community, Mr Lye is Chairman of the Singapore National Council Against Drug Abuse and is Chairman of the Citizens’ Consultative Committee at Bedok Reservoir - Punggol Constituency. He has sat on several government committees on economic restructuring, financial sector liberalisation and public sector innovation. Mr Lye was awarded the Public Service Medal (“Pingat Bakti Masyarakat”) in 2009 by the President of the Republic of Singapore.
