Mr Victor Lye has over 25 years' operational and strategic leadership experience in public policy, investment analysis, equities sales, corporate finance, direct investments, asset management and insurance. He has turned around several businesses during his career. Familiar with regional markets, he oversaw business units in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, New York and London.

Mr Aung honed his skills in corporate business management, strategic planning and trading during the 10 years he spent with State Trading Organization of Maldives, a public limited company owned by the Government of Republic of Maldives. Starting out as an accountant, Mr Aung later worked as a trading manager at the oil trading department before promotion to General Manager at the Maldives National Oil Company in Singapore.

Mr Naung was an electrical engineer in Yangon, Myanmar from 1983 to 1992 before moving to Singapore to oversee mechanical and electrical projects for the Singapore branch of DAI-DAN Co., Ltd of Japan.

 

Mr Naung has diversified business interests such as consulting and trading of machinery and parts between Singapore, Japan and Myanmar. He is also involved in food catering and manages restaurants that serve Myanmar cuisine in Singapore and Myanmar.
